excellent upgrade, but..... this thing def. made an improvement. i had the 5600+ b4 and i still noticed a good dif. one thing i didnt like, the fact that this is the fastest dual core AMD makes and it only raised my PC score from 5.3 to 5.5. so the only way to make it out is to buy the quad core. oh well. also i noticed my fan is working harder more often, but then again my PC was made with the 5600 so i dunno if its just me needing to change a fan or setting. doesnt over heat at all...that was a plus! also i got the black box edition, but with a pre-built OEM Vista install...there is no way to change my clock speed to overclock it. so i dunno how well it does overclocked..either way it made a good improvement and i do not regret my purchase
monter speed this thing is a monster and thats everything, which must be said about
it. 3,2 gigahertz and who needs overclock that? not I call of duty4
with this processor and the 8800 am not unbelieveable. I had an idea,
which I was missing, as I still another 5 a yearly machine with one
agp 4x map lol = used)
Athlon 64X2 6400+ Black Edition CPU Opinion The cpu runs fine with no problems even at it's max speed of 3200Mhz+. This is about it's max speed without crashing. I only managed to overclock the FSB from the normal speed of 200 to 209 before it became unstable. I previously had a Athlon 64X2 5200+ installed, and 6400+ is noticeably faster in 3D games. Also I am using the same CPU cooler from the 5200+ with no overheating problems (Cool'N'Quiet turned on).
Amazing! this thing is the fastest proccessor, that I has at all used... You
are safe to have an acceptable fan cooling device and you are good
Good, but not good enough. For this is more overcloker an acceptable processor, but it is not
when good, if it with its brother, which is compared black expenditure
5000. 5000 has more overclocking potential, than this debt to the
5000, which at 2.6Ghz is, while this 3.2Ghz. is 5000, more bang for
the dollar receives. It is not, natural, you interest has, on
overclocking, then I suggest that you buy the regular 6000 at 3.0Ghz,
since it comes also in camp cooling stock.
Very good value - expect to pay extra for a >$25 HSF Competitive performance for a fair price. If you're planning on buying it consider the cost of the heatsink and fan you'll need.
awsome amd this is a large processor, like always of amd I bought, when
brand-new, when it was dollar more inexpensive 10, but, like the
always very much competition-oriented preisbestimmung simply you
remember that there is no cooling radiator with these thing work
awsome large speed for play and watching out screen and material on
double announcement of systmes.
Great CPU but kind warm Ok, this CPU is best right now in the market, 3.2Ghz but only 2MB cache. The good thing is this can be compete with E6750 from Intel and best Dual Core right now in the market in my opinion. If you want this CPU to run in low temp. you going to need some kind special CPU cooler not stock heatsink because it run 10oC higher than other series like x2 4200+(at 31oC with special heatsink)
