Description:
Add a dash of high style to any ensemble with this limited edition Invicta chronograph timepiece for women, which is elegantly topped by a bezel ringed with 16 hand set sparkling diamonds. The diamonds are GH color and SI clarity. The shimmery mother-of-pearl dial face includes three silver sub-dials with measurements for 1/10th of a second, 60 seconds, and 30 minutes of elapsed time as well as luminous Tritnite hands and hour markers, small minute indexes, and a date window at 4 o'clock. The round watch case measures 35mm wide (1.38 inches) and 11mm thick (0.43 inches). It's complemented by a stainless steel bracelet band that mixes polished and satin links. Other features include a precise Swiss quartz movement, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet)--offering protection from accidental splashes as well suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and light recreational diving. Tritnite is a luminous material with an extended glow exclusively developed by Invicta in Switzerland and added to their timepiece hands and markers. When exposed to regular daylight, it will hold its glow for about 20 hours.

Reviews:

starsI LOVE it!!!
My husband bought this watch for me for Christmas. I absolutely LOVE it. Its gorgeous. Its heavy duty, yet feminine at the same time. I wear it daily, and I get so many compliments! My husband also gets a 5 star rating for picking it out!

starsFor $ 149 this is a 5 star watch but...

starsBeautiful
I have bought this vigilance as gift and I have appreciate it therefore a lot that I have bought it one for. Definitively it confronts to the vigilance of Bulova, less than the face he is larger. It can be dressed capacity like every day from the vigilance... in on or it is drained. I love the vigilance!

starsPretty, BIG Problem
I received the watch as a Christmas gift from by husband. It is a beautiful watch and elegant. But there is a PROBLEM with it. The second hand stops on the 12 frequently.(Time is still correct.) We have to press the right top button to restart it every 5 min. If someone has the same problem, please let us know how to fix it or is it normal. It gets frustrating to reset the watch all the time.

starsOne Huge Watch
A couple of the Bulova reviews weren't so glowing. One reason I selected the Invicta chronograph is that I own another Invicta and it's proven to be a reliable watch. I knew from the other reviews that this watch would be large but it is huge. I had thought it might be about the size of an Accutron Chamonix, which is also a chronograph, but this is far larger and heavier. I was looking for a bit of bling but this is a bit too large and conspicuously flashy for my taste.

Also, the date is a couple of days off, so I don't know if the watch is losing time or if the date wasn't set correctly before it was sent to me. Anyway, I received it this evening and will give it a day to grow on me, but more likely than not I'll be sending it back and perhaps purchasing a Seiko or less conspicuous diamond Bulova.

starsMine came defective
Bought this for a Christmas Gift for my cousin. It arrived and looked pretty good. Seemed to be running just fine. HOWEVER the little frame around the "date" window had fallen off the dial face, and was flying around loose under the crystal. Returned it for refund, and am still waiting for the refund. Guess the holiday season is busy enough to slow the refund, as Amazon is usually good about this......

starsI Love It!
I have ordered this like container of special gold. For 179,00, they are a lot pleased with my purchase. Nacre the face is very more pleasant in person and the image on the Web site does not make this justice of the vigilance. Yes, as the other critics celebrate to us, the diamonds are a lot, much small. However, enough hardly bling in order to emphasize this part. The functions of the cronografo work large and my gioielliere the vigilance has non-commissioned officer to me second the measure in order gratis and has noticed this was a great price for this vigilance. Moreover, the extensive guarantee offered to the customers of the amazon, a value 35,00, gives to a total of one guarantee to you from 5 years. In a generalized manner, they are a lot pleased.

starsGreat looking and heavy chronograph watch. Diamonds are almost invisible, but still a great value.
I was very happy when I opened the package and saw this watch. The words that come to mind when describing this timepiece are handsome, solid, beautiful. It is a chronograph and therefore it has the size and heft of a chronograph. The ladies model is fairly big when compared to the more delicate jewelery watches available for ladies.

To give you an idea of the size, the dial is about 1.5 inches across (the middle glass section is a tiny bit bigger than a quarter + the bezel). The strap is also wide at little more than half an inch (5/8"). The model number is #4718 which is the stainless steel watch with a mix of stainless brushed and polished finish just like the picture. (The #4719 mentioned by another reviewer is the two tone stainless and gold model.) The case of this watch is thick too, just over 1 cm (7/16") so don't go for this watch if you are looking for a slimmer and lighter watch. In fact, the picture made this watch look more delicate than it is in person.

If I was picking this watch for a man with a slimmer wrist, this would look better than the male version. In fact, this Movado Men's Juro Watch #0605023 has almost the same case diameter as this watch.

This watch feels heavy and solid on the wrist. The band is around 7.5 inches so you'll have to take out a link or two if you have the average wrist size of about 6.5-7 inches. The 16 diamonds on the bezel (2 in each section) look much bigger in the picture than they are in person. They are just as big as a pinprick, almost too tiny to be seen by the naked eye!

However, diamonds or no diamonds, the watch looks expensive and like a quality product. It has a beautiful stainless steel finish and a mother of pearl dial. The hands and number markings glow in the dark. The push button on the 2 sides of the winder help control the chronograph functions. The movement is "Swiss movement" and it is water resistant upto 100m. It comes in the signature bright yellow Invicta fake-leather box (box made in China) with an outer yellow cardboard box with an embossed Invicta logo. Inside the box is a warranty form, an international warranty card, and the manual etc.

Invicta is an older Swiss watch company (est. 1837) with a reputation for making great timepieces, and the quality is apparent in this watch. A watch review site mentioned that if Rolex is the Bugatti of watches, then Invicta is the Camry. I'll take the Camry, given the price and value factor!

Invicta is also offering 1+4 years free platinum warranty as per the current promotion if you buy it from Amazon. (a $35 value)

If you still want to learn more there is an almost identical Bulova Women's Diamond Chronograph Watch #96R19 available that has 70+ reviews, most of them rave about their purchase. It is also the same price as the Invicta. As mentioned above, Invicta is a Swiss based watch company (although they now have an office in Florida) and Bulova is an American watch company started in New York by an immigrant in 1870s.

I love this watch, and can't stop admiring it. It definitely looks more expensive than the price I paid.

starsA decent timepiece for the price I paid of $179
I received this watch today. I purchased it as a "gold box" buy for $179. Seemed like an excellent buy. But, there are a few "untruths" given as the item description.
* The model number of the watch is actually #4719, not #4718
* The (16 handset, sparkling diamonds) are the most ridiculously small chips I have ever seen, actually they are literally too small to be seen. The picture shown and description makes you believe that even though small, they would be visible. Not so.
* When you hold the watch to your ear to hear the "tick tick" of the second hand, it skips and is clearly irregular. I haven't had it long enough to tell if it keeps proper time yet.
* The back of the watch case (with the model#) is twisted around. I don't know if that is important, but it seems like for a nicer brand watch it should be put together better.

On the positive side, it is a heavy, significant watch. It is shiny, nice looking and wearable as an everyday watch. It is a bit rugged for evening, but it depends on what you do in your evenings I suppose.

Overall, it is pretty nice... I just expected more and a bit better quality.
