I've had this drive for about 6 months now, and it has performed flawlessly. It's added storage for my iMac G4 set-up. I've used LaCie products in the past, and they've always been very reliable. Will be buying another LaCie drive (for another computer) today.


starsLooks great, fragile and untrustworthy
I bought this based on total execution of Lacie the maid, the price and the glances of the machine. At the beginning, I was made quiver. It installed large and additional storage was fantastic, particularly for the price. I liked it so much, I bought a second for work. Well, today (then having it less than one month), the order fell to approximately 2 inches from the edge on my desk and the edge of the order struck my office. A small bump, not an accident. Maintaining the order makes strange noise of squeaking and neither one nor the other one of my computers will identify the order. I tried to disconnect, putting not under tension, etc but no chance. I am guessing me or lost all or I must go wages somebody to recover the contents. I am extremely disappointed. I must turn over and seek the other orders now and buy 2 of them. Like support and like protection for protection. I would direct this order clearly. I think usually just that people writing of the negative reviews are unpleasant or have a certain kind of agenda, but I am test right to inform you to lose your whole emergency control. The purchaser take guard.
