Perfect for My Needs
When I learned that my boys must sell tickets of raffle in front of places like the Wal-Market and other stores of grocer like part of their conditions of membership of symphony of youth, I suddenly found in the need for a portable loudspeaker to play their accompaniment of violin rapièce. For their first of the executions of continuous sales, I borrowed the portable CD player of a neighbor. But I did not want to keep the loan for future executions, thus I decided to buy a loudspeaker of iPod. I appear that it is certainly a better option since I have already a iPod and this CD is the players to leave the mode. My criteria for the loudspeaker were: 1) transportable and enough light not to be expensive while carrying it around; 2) must operate the battery and the AC current; 3) good noise, so nonlarge; 4) the good total reviews of the sites like CNet and others; 5) decent evaluation; and in conclusion, 6) design and construction aesthetically of satisfaction. When I started to seek on the loudspeakers available of iPod currently outside on the market, I quickly discovered that there was no one which met all the criteria enumerated with my more whole satisfaction. If I found one that I liked, it proved that the unit does not operate the battery; if I still found who caught my attention, then it had bad reviews on the quality of sound, or the exorbitant evaluation, etc etc... To I paid my attention to Pure-Fi Logitech anywhere. It did not have the same higher examinations of all the loudspeakers of iPod outside there, but it proved that the majority of the negative reviews -- not that there was much -- were based on the defective arrangement of the functions of the unit, in particular the complaints which the speaker is "weak" when there is in fact a button which you must support on for a his broader stereophony. This beautiful lucky find is simply perfect for my needs. It is the only product which really met all my criteria enumerated above: 1) it is not only very light and portable, but to the difference of other products, it comes with a case from shell from clam which you can store the unit for displacement. The case cannot be made of a leather or a genuine metal, but I am very gratifié by this nice and attentive contact. 2) so that my need plays the unit anywhere "," this product does exactly that with the refillable battery which lasts during 10 hours. Other marks, if they operate the power of battery of the whole, do not last as wish ardently, at least on paper. Although the integrated refillable battery is not replaceable, I am rather happy that I will not be too picky. 3) while I hoped to obtain a decent noise out of this small unit, I was really impressed and makes quiver to note that the quality of its exceeded certainly the manner beyond my hopes. My ears can age, but I really could not make a difference between this unit and the $300 Bose which I examined with the club of local SAM. I was wow' ED simply! 4) this product would have received an estimate much higher than the 7.7 than CNet currently has if it were not for the misunderstanding mentioned above. 5) the expenditure below $100 for the product of quality like this, I think, were a flight. I am the happy sooooo that I did not withdraw my chart of credit rating for this Bose with the club of SAM the other day! ! 6) I am happy that my iPod is white to be matched with the white version of anywhere, as I think it seem cleaner (less visibility of dust, for one!) with what already satisfied aesthetically design. To finish, I would like to mention three the other "attention" of the package of product which I appreciated much -- independently of the case of shell of clam: 1) the unit comes with small and enough without external wire to order the switch of power, level of volume, to activate it stereo to widen the healthy field, to direct the menu and the ways of iPod, and to adjust beating and the repetition. It is not the most perfect remote control which I employed, but it is completely functional with less than 15 pi. I would have been excessively happy even if the unit did not come with outside (don't many of other marks of competition provide even one), thus who worry if that does not function of two rooms far? 2) the unit comes with a group from universal adaptors from dock to choose yours of. The adaptor comfortably held my iPod that it would not fall even when I turned the side unit. I think that it would not fall even if you turn the unit to back, but I will make you make check that and report/ratio outside. And in conclusion, 3) the provided adaptor of AC current Is international tension (100-240V), a nice contact for those which travel internationally. Moreover, this adaptor with A.C. is designed such as the cord can be in an ordered way rolled up around the base of the adaptor itself. When displacement can you remplier the adaptor with A.C. in the dock of the unit of loudspeaker and then in the case of shell of clam.


so good speaker
It was a birthday gift for my girl friend. She and I really love listening together by using this simple and clean speaker. Absolutely, it gives us such a beautiful moment that we feel good and relaxed in busy days.


Great all around
This portable speaker is excellent. I first learned about it from my aunt, who has one. She told me that she loved it. This is what I wanted as a docking station for my iPod. It has great sound. I love that it also comes with a remote. I love that it is so portable and the case makes it easier to bring all of its componanents except it does not have room for the iPod, but that does not bother me. If you are looking for a great portable speaker, this product is it.


My mom loves it.
My brother and I split the cost of this for our mother's Christmas present. She loves it. I heard what it sounded like a week later, and it sounds great.

The rechargeable batteries are a big plus for her, and the case keeps it protected during transport. The 4GB iPod Nano (2nd gen.) she has fits perfectly into the cradle.

I can see her using it at school (she's a teacher), at the beach, outside while entertaining guests in her backyard, at barbecues, etc.

For the price of it, I'd say it's a great deal.


Good Sound for small unit
Surprisingly, this has good bass for how small it is. I like that it's rechargeable and there a battery gauge at the top. The remote also allows you to easily navigate the ipod menu.


Really nice speaker set
This is a really nice set of speakers. Great sound, solid bass and treble. The unit is quite small, with little legs that fold out to stand it up. The remote control works well. The case (black, even for the white unit I got) is good quality. The AC adapter cord is one of those nice ones, with the folding plug and a little cord winder for storage. All AC adapters should be designed like this. The unit came with about 10 different adapters for various ipods. We have an old 20GB 3G ipod, which by the way doesn't work in the cradle. You have to buy a cord and use the input jack at the back. Not a huge issue, because we also have a nano that works perfectly in the cradle, but nice to know (same issue apparently for 1G and 2G, which have no cradle). It's about time for an ipod upgrade anyway.
