love it but there is a major flaw
I bought this camera for my husband after its needle of Olympe (820 that I think) was stolen of me. Feeling guilty, I wanted to buy it something which similar was however updated. By obtaining the 1200 model, I was happy, but its only felt sorry for was that it is not possible to look at images without prolonging the objective of camera. As inside, looking by posting with out of rotation on the camera because it could with its model.If older whoever can activate this device, left me know! Otherwise the love very of I of the devices of recreation and the quality of image is large! Moreover, I am happy that I bought the chart of XD, a his very) toy necessary by cool. My only felt sorry for was with the mail service, they delivered the two products, but by means of striking the door and leaving the package on the threshold and did not await a whole him to answer the door. With recognition my husband was at the house to receive the package and was not with work, causes there is not really any statement if it would have been there when I became at the house. Olympus Stylus 830 8MP Digital Camera with Dual Image Stabilized 5x Optical Zoom (Black) I bought this for my 17 year old daughter and she absolutely loves it! It's so nice and light. She didn't even have to read the directions to start using it. It takes terrific pictures. There isn't anything about this camera we don't like. I would highly reccomend it.

I am by no means a tech expert, but this camera is amazing. Very small, nice colour, great features.


Nice camera
I obtained sand in my camera of series of Fe of Olympe, and wanted another Olympe thus I could employ the same case, charts, etc... This camera makes very that I need him with and moreover. The device "of fast fire" is perfect for the contagious animals and kids in le..and of act... the occasional grownup! People are more careful now where I have the camera outside. Since the camera is resistant splash, I not epect ruins it any time soon.

It takes the effort to appear out of all the devices available. Thus if you are initial and are not occupied technology, it is not for you. If you have much a numerical experiment of camera and want to take time to go to various options of shooting, then you will make very well with this. I am medium of the road but feel me as I would do better if I took a course of photography to help me to improve. The largest things which I sought in a new camera (had a Elph)was Gun so that the red eye works (it makes the major part of time), describe the color was acurate (this seems to be) and with the little children that I can click and obtains him the image when I took it... not after they turned their head etc... Is this what I am disappointed inside. I play around some with the portrait, sports, etc. and helps some to him, but I was employed with rotation on my camera and take an image of kid immediately... should not push more buttons and to equalize then it also quickly does not take the photograph like made my Gun. We were also out of the day before of Christmas looking of the lights and the majority of them continued to come out of disorder and it was lit with stabilization. And I played with the various devices of night to see whether made a difference. With recognition, I do not need to take at much outside the dark images so that this is an important exit.

Approve thus I like really really Olympe, I almost always went in this direction. I must admit that I wonder whether my delemer is because it is a point and the growth and I require of much, my last cameras are Olympe E-510 and E-3. I wanted that something of small carried with me when a larger camera would cause the concern. I like the macro one on this camera (830), because always Olympe has the best macro one on the market, with regard to I, the 4/3rds is the reason. I however did not like the very long shooting of surplus with the buzz X5, I found it a little grained. If you do not employ the x5 that it almost grained was not given I guess with a point and do not draw a any jump inside here, I am not completely sure. Above all if your search for small a point and projectile, this really good end of catches rises or macro it is the camera. If your search for a camera to the projectile like a slr above all, though it can have much same arrangements, this camera can disappoint you. However any point and growth can make the same thing.

I have only recently received this camera. I upgraded from the Stylus 810 which was an outstanding camera. If you are a professional photographer or like to adjust your own aperature or speed setting then this is not for you. If you are like most of the people who will buy this camera I find it difficult to beat. You can carry it easily in a shirt pocket or a purse. The 8 MP is more than enough for most point and shoot cameras. The dual stabilization makes it hard to create any picture with a blur. This is almost a must for zoom pictures and perhaps the best stabilization of any of the many cameras I have tried. It offers a close up setting and a micro close up setting. It offers 4 settings for the quality of the picture you will take (pixels). If you want a picture for ebay use the low setting with close up feature. If you want a picture of your family go for the high setting. It has to many presets to mention for such things as action, people, night scenes, etc. The camera is simplicity at its best. Even a novice should be taking pictures a few minutes out of the box. Set the built in flash to auto and forget it if you want to. All controls are clear and easy to use. If it is raining do not worry as this camera has a weather tight case. I have used the professional Nikon,s etc but for most of you this camera is all you will ever want and more. I highly recommend this camera. Two caveats and that is to buy a 1G or 2G memory card as the camera does not come with a card. Also buy an extra battery so you will always have an extra charged battery available if you take a lot of pictures. I also recommed the soft carrying case made by Olympus. I give this camera 5 stars.


Great camera
I just obtained this camera in the mail yesterday and I like it. It is an impressive camera with many devices. I ignites as soon as you push the button of power and he writes the photes immediatly. The images are very clear and very pointed. I examining it the night by taking photographs of my part with all the lights outside. The images left as if I had taken them in the time of day. I read another review some share that the visual camera does not have the noise -- well, it has healthy, at least mine. I must admit, that the battery did not last very long, but on other side, I never charged it before the first use and the battery comes only half charged. I bought a chart type of M of media of 2GB to go hand in hand with him and him of work perfectly with this camera. I obtained the camera in green (beautiful color). If I were to still do it more, I would obtain the same camera.


Nice product but pricey
I like the devices, particularly the stabilization of image. You must like stabilization or should buy the 820 for much less to you than $$.>I played with at best purchase 820 and the 830 will take a more pointed photograph, particularly on the full buzz. On the tilted side is that the camera exhausts the power of battery rather quickly thus you can want to buy a battery available. The camera does not come with a chart from memory from the whole thus the plan on obtaining one, and a case is a good idea too.
