PHILIPS ID 9370B Enhanced High DefVoice Additional HandsetThe phone is great looking and light. Accessing missed calls and voicemails could be easier. The phone has a volume problem, not very loud no matter what ring tone you choose, and volume for hearing and talking could be a little louder. If this is a main phone and not near where you are, it will probably not get your attention.

I purchased the additional handset and baseset from different suppliers. Both rang by themselves in the night. I sent back my orginal baseset because it rang by itself in the night. I reordered and the second baseset did the same thing. Philips customer support has had several reports of this problem and there is no way to fix it. I had to return everything. I wish they could make something this good looking in a product that works.

There is a red light on top of the handset that flashes when you miss a call or have a message on the answering machine, you don't know which it flashing for the missed call or the answering machine, the light flashes until you clear the call list. That is another issue. Call waiting to answer is awkward, you have to push two different buttons. Just some awkward issues with the setup.

If you want a cool looking phone, buy it. If you want one that works properly buy something else. I wish they could make a phone this good looking that works and is user friendly.

I had seen last year this beautiful unit (2006) in Europe, it is certainly principal Turner; superb model of the world of telephone; it gained several rewards of design in Europe. It is not simply another pretty face - the technical part is large, the clearness of voice and the definition is superb once compared with much above -- of the line telephones; the not-twisted telephone and mic of loudspeaker are large; posting luminous and is coloured. I am happy superb with this telephone. I bought the unit of responder and two compounds additional. When I compared it with other units of all the principal marks, almost very looked at extremely bugly once compared with this one. The only straw that I have the experiment is the fact that unfortunately it did not read the chart of SIM of my telephone of cells: - (I have a chart of 3G ATT - it seems that Philips did not translate the technology European of SIM at the side of the USA (or vice versa) - I gave it that 5 always holds the first role because he carries out extremely well, he seems good, and the haut-def device is impressive.
