Nice Idea. Poor Quality (and Quality Control)
Third unit. 1. behind that CD to attach stage, 2. bricked (expenditures for battery), 3. remains complete being seen to receive. Do not wish everything on my cellphone. I used, to palms for 10 years however back to paper to go can. Device has lots ability, but one goes to quality control. Palm only Obacht over the Treo more. And palm customer service to #2 over informed I relative: Seriennummer - despite my registering my of Amazon "new" acquisition in 10/2007 - that was really registered before the unit (!) in 5/2006. minimal bells and whistles but very functional!
This thing is always in my pocket and I constantly use it for:
- keeping track of apointments and sync with Outlook from anywhere (needs a wifi connection, or a sync cable)
- read and answer e-mails (wifi)
- read .pdf documents. high resolution and landscape mode of the screen make it easy (well, as easy as it gets on the size of the screen) to read papers the way they look on a page.
- jotting down notes
- listening to mp3's
- show my digital pictures to friends

I have not had any glitches, failed syncs, errors.

Palm TX
I really enjoy my palm TX. I wished to attach something, which take with me, over to the InterNet to hotspots am small, and hold my kalandere to the hand. It does both of those things well. I enjoy also using ebooks and playing plays during one moment of the downtime. I thought that the screen would be to small, for reading a book really on but the screen supplies the brightness and the clarity, which I need for measured value. I like the palm TX. But I am very unfortunate with the hard case. It does not clasp. They must plumpsen the TX around, in order to switch the unit on or to receive the recording head out. In the indulgence I wish that I would have bought palm TX Handheldthe Rhinohaut in place of of the hard case.


Very nice PDA
I chose the Palm TX primarily based on the reviews, and it doesn't disappoint. It is relatively easy to operate, the screen is big and bright, and I've had no problems after 6 weeks. I use it primarily for medical reference and some games & movies while traveling. The WiFi connection worked flawlessly. My only tiny dissatisfaction is with design of the hard case, which doesn't have cutouts so that you can charge the Palm while in the case (useful if your cats are traipsing about on your desk at night!). If you can get a good deal on the Palm TX by itself, you might look into one of the other cases available. I had a Rhino skin on my old PDA, which I liked very much. But all in all, this is a very good value.

Tried and True...
Palm the OS was around for one while, and during it an outdated point and many bells and Whistles not as Windows mobile to have quite there knows, is it a much more proven and steadier platform. I returned iPaq and went with a palm, which works on the palm on that OTHER hand large, to go it syncs with prospect and Microsoft the Office products and so seamlessly up to now (with documents those with the palm comes). It did not even collide (naturally knocking on wood) and many nice characteristics has. The Wifi and bluetooth are simple to set up and attach and the screen is rather largely, free, and with a landscape mode the only material differences between the TX and tungsten palm tungsten E2, the hand are bright, actual with the TX, which you "hide" the letters surface and can have a full screen, in which as with tungsten you cannot. That tungsten also does not permit widescreen. Glad I went back
I had to replace an inadvertently damaged Treo. This device bought, in order to replace an aging tungsten ' E '. I think that the ' TX ' is ehrfuerchtig and saw up to now none down side to it. This everyone would recommend, which is a fan palm of the OSS.


Palm T/X
I upgraded from a palm zire 72 that I loved. This one is even better. Same basic platform with a few fun new features. Great product.


Good Palm, questionable case
The palm is large, although I wish that she came with instruction a book. I do not interest me in the case. Too smoothly dropped in the hand, if it is used, it a pair of times. Also the palm sits too deeply in the case and you must it "easily strike", in order to receive to the recording head admission.


Palm TX
This is my first PDA and I loves it. I do not have absolutly objections over the palm TX, which it large functioned and which is hard case A must have. The only objection, which I have, is the palm Desktop software, which is used for synchronization the PDA for the computer. It functions, but it is frequent flacky and I must with it for one while play, in order to receive it, in order to do, what I wish. Entirely I would buy definately this again.


The Palm TX is TXcellent
I have owned 5 different Palm Pilots over the years and the TX is the nicest. It has W-Fi that operates very well and Bluetooth that sychs up with any Bluetooth very easily. The screen is outstanding; it's big and bright. The battery life is good, although it is not replaceable unless you send it to the manufacturer. The TX is sleek and can also play music. I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to anymore seeking to purchase PDA. As an added bonus, a hard case was sent with it.


Going back to paper
After 8 years and 7 devices I give above and go back to paper. Quality control of the palm is terrible and outsourced Techunterstuetzung is useless. The screen on this device began to behave itself after 1 day use weirdly - registering 1/4-inch away of, where I affected it, or not, to all registering. I had enough.

Nice PDA
I bought the PDA instead of the Treo because I didn't want to pay for a data plan as well as a voice plan. I chose the Palm TX with the hard case because it could go online, keep my calendar, lists, memos, and Office documents/sheets.
Overall, it works well. I haven't used the Office stuff much, but the Word works well. The colors are bright on the screen and the different apps are fairly easy to get too. It is a bit of a bummer that you have to go back to the main page/table of contents in order to get to another application.
The hard case works well although it is slippery. Plus, it's hard to get open at first. Remember to push the side with the arrow back a little bit.
I like my purchase and it does make my life easier. I wish it would stay on longer though.

I am not the most technical person, but is simple to use. I have tons of data on mine fingertips, which my work forms more simply.

Now uses for more than 3 months. Point pricey, but a large product. Infact the battery life is more, than the manual says.


Works As Expected
I have owned several palm models. This one has wi-fi and bluetooth. It also has more native memory. The web browser seems to work better than in previous models. The speed is definitely better than the Lifedrive. I do not plan to use it for mp3 files but it is nice that it comes with a standard microphone jack.


Good product but difficult upgrade
I bought this product as ascending for my palm tungsten C Ich like the product (although I miss the keyboard tungsten of C) and the hard case already very useful examined (as I the machine on a tile floor dropped). I had however a number of problems with the migration of my old programs for the new machine. Some the new versions of programs did not bring correctly on (Versamail and documents to to go were certain problems). I would suggest that you examine web site from the palm, before you attach run let -- following the advice prevents there a number of expensive (expressed in time) problems. On-line help was mixed -- a person gave me bad advice and different one kept me going into the correct direction. Guarantee to have your handy adjustment keys, because you can to have to install something from your software again. The hard case is nice looking. To open is difficult and I am safe, after an important quantity use stops, it to work on. She is clumsy to try to hot synchronization while it is in the case. It is hard to explain the front side from the back to but the pilot goes only in the case in a direction.


FRUSTRATED!!!!
I bought my Palm T|X less than a year ago to replace my Sony Clie that I had left on the airplane. At first I was very pleased with my Palm, now it is all I can do to keep from chucking it in the trash. The pointer pen will not calibrate. No matter how precise I try to calibrate the pen, I still have a problem activtivating the control I point to. I had my Clie for several years and never had this problem. Unfortunately, Sony discontinued the Clie. If you can't use the pointer on the Palm, the whole palm is pretty much useless!

Very nice product. Software has as much on it and I can not, which everything is and it functions. Salesman dispatched fast and came exactly, as described. Large condition and work pour out. All Good but two MAJOR software flaws

I bought rather many places of assembly and other memory, and this is at present one of two distinguished agreements. WiFi and and enough tweaks to keep me happy.
I'm a long-time Palm user with limited money to spend tech-toys, so I have to make my investments count. Most recently, I had a Palm Zire 72 that I have absolutely worn out. Awesome machine that I needed to replace.
I purchased the Palm TX after much thought and review. I find it as easy as my Zire was with some neat enhancements and great tools -- and some odd hitches.
First off: WiFi. Easy to connect, easy to use, smooth and fast. Blazer is a dream and the combination make it my favorite way to browse Bloglines.
The switchable views, landscape to portrait and back, smooth and nice. Combined with my Palm Keyboard, I have a useful writing platform for just about any situation.
I know the Palm OS is old, but this did have some nice improvements over my three-year-old Zire:
I like that I can click and hold the "Home" Button to instantly switch between applications, without having to go through the "Applications" menu.
What I don't like: Versa Mail. I cannot get it to work to save my life, and Palm has been little help. I've given up for the moment and use Blazer and Gmail for my emailing needs.
I don't like that Blazer does not support uploads, which is an issue for me.
I also don't like that two security upgrades were not installed on the system when I unboxed. I have yet to install the second -- which cost $5, by the way -- because it requires a full reset and I will have to reset my preferences and third party applications by hand. Both security upgrades should have been part of the ROM from the very beginning.
All in all, however, quite pleased with this.
